Review of Rimmel London- "As You Want Victoria"

Labels:
Review of Rimmel London- "As You Want Victoria" color: 360 (I'd describe this as a bright cold blue-toned dark pink)

Nice scent, bright, high-impact color, I love the sleek square-shaped purple cover. The cover makes an audible "click" to let you know the cap is on securely (ever get lipstick smudges on the inside on your pocketbook?)
It goes on very smooth with a light feel (not heavy or waxy). The color is very intense, with full coverage. I put it on at 1:30 pm, let's see how long it lasts.
freshly applied, no lipliner
Later in the day: ...After a light snack, and a cup of tea, the lipstick lasted about 2 hours. Then the luster started to fade, and my lips felt a little dry, but the color was still visible for at least another hour. Although visible, it was a less intense color, without shine. This is not smudge proof, not transfer-proof.

I'm going to try this lipstick again another day, it is a bright color, (a lot brighter than I am used to wearing) but the lipstick itself is great. I may check out what other colors it comes in.

*update from hours later- my lips are NOT chapped! Most lipsticks make my lips dry and chapped after they wear off, but not this one.

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
